The Letchworth Educational Settlement seeks two ASSISTANT MANAGERS, to work 32 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year). Additional work, including during holiday periods, will be available by negotiation on an ad hoc basis.  

Start date: 1 September 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter.  

Two hugely exciting vacancies have arisen at the Settlement, the much-loved local centre for adult learning and creativity. Post-holders should demonstrate a combination of skills across customer service, administration and basic caretaking. Having largely emerged from the pandemic, the Settlement is now embarking on a dynamic development programme in which the Assistant Managers will play a crucial role. 

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the team. The Settlement was established in 1920 and is an historic and important Letchworth Garden City institution. We are a registered charity, providing a wide range of courses, workshops and events to the local community. We specialise in arts and crafts, languages, creative writing and special interest courses and activities.
