Automotive Industry Trainer

Location: Norton Way Group, Norton Way North, Letchworth, Herts. SG6 1BLHours: 40 hours per week Monday to FridaySalary: £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

What you will be doing:

Joining Norton Way Group as our Industry Trainer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our team members. It will be your responsibility to design and deliver comprehensive training programs that align with industry best practices, guaranteeing our staff are equipped with the latest advancements and techniques in the automotive field.

• Develop and implement training for a variety of roles across our sites, including but not limited to, service, sales and team leaders.• Direct engaging and informative training sessions, workshops and seminars, both in person and virtual platforms. Provide ongoing support and coaching, for employees, fostering a continuous learning culture.• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to incorporate within your training programs• Assess training needs across the business, through collaboration with department heads and management, tailoring training accordingly.• Create and update training material, manuals and documents, ensuring accuracy and relevance• Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs through assessments, feedback and performance metrics.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience as an Automotive industry Trainer or worked in a similar environment• In-depth knowledge of the automotive technologies industry trends and best practices• Strong communication, interpersonal and engaging presentation skills• Ability to adapt training methods to meet the diverse needs of learners• Excellent organisational and time management• Drive for continuous learning and professional developmentRequirements for the role:

• Minimum of 4 years within a training role• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the automotive industry• Certification in training and development
