My client is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Administrator to support a small team in the efficient delivery of pallet shipments across the UK. This role requires active participation in daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while maximising carrying capacity. Accurate administration skills, flexibility, and IT literacy are essential, along with a proactive willingness to learn and lead by example. Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise the Track order & dispatch software for efficient management of daily operations.
  • Work closely with customers to exceed their expectations and address any concerns promptly.
  • Conduct office administration tasks, including accurate data entry, filing, and invoicing.
  • Identify optimal pallet fill opportunities and manage distribution strategies.
  • Manage and document issues, particularly damaged goods, and complete necessary insurance forms.
  • Analyse opportunities for process improvement and lead cross-functional development of solutions.
  • Drive implementation of solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Promote and optimise European pallet services.
  • Handle customer service inquiries via emails, calls, and web messages.
  • Collect and account for all Proof of Deliveries from Pallet Track.
  • Monitor and follow up on outbound deliveries at scheduled times.
  • Download jobs from the web portal, update collections board, and manage 3rd party collections.
  • Timely job entry, ensuring proper rates are assigned, and all jobs are added to the board promptly.
  • Scan customer paperwork, driver deliveries, and run sheets.
  • Undertake additional duties contributing to the smooth running of the business.

  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in logistics would be advantageous.
