Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English Teacher to join our team in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, for the academic year starting September 2024. This role involves teaching English to students at GCSE and A-Level, where you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and educating our students through the rich and complex world of English literature and language.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience teaching English at GCSE and A-Level in a UK school.
• Current Safeguarding and Prevent training (issued within the last year).
• Right to Work in the UK, along with an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to undertake a new application.
• Two professional child-related references from the last two years.
