Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative History lessons that meet the curriculum requirements for GCSE and A-Level.

• Maintain a positive learning environment, using innovative and effective classroom management techniques.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole-school training events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and integrate cross-curricular themes.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching History in a UK school setting.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training issued within the last year.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
