Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons across all Science disciplines at GCSE level.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for science.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop innovative science programs and activities.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Science at GCSE level in a UK school.
• Current Safeguarding and Prevent training completed within the last year.
• Right to Work in the UK, plus an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to initiate a new application.
• Two professional child-related references from the past two years.
