Position: Spanish Teacher (Teaching Spanish at GCSE Level)

Minimum Rate of Pay: 150.00 per day

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Full Day)

Overview:

We are in search of an enthusiastic and skilled Spanish Teacher to join our educational team in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, for the academic year beginning September 2024. This role involves teaching Spanish to GCSE level students, where you will be instrumental in fostering a love for the Spanish language and culture while enhancing our students' communication and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
  • Evaluate student progress, provide timely feedback, and support students in achieving their learning objectives.
  • Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and language practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular learning opportunities where appropriate.
  • Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience teaching Spanish at GCSE level in a UK school.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (issued within the last year).
  • Right to Work in the UK, alongside an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or a willingness to initiate a new application.
  • Two professional child-related references from the past two years.
