Role Purpose:

The Year 4 Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 4 students, ensuring a stimulating and safe learning environment. You will plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the varied learning needs of your students, fostering their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to encourage positive development and addressing any areas of concern.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respects diversity.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, utilising their skills to support student learning effectively.
• Engage with parents and guardians to support student progress, including through regular communication and parent-teacher meetings.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly within Year 4 or similar age groups.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, colleagues, and parents.
• A commitment to professional growth and development.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
