Bright Selection Ltd are delighted to be representing a key client in their appointment of an experienced Home Manager for a successful home in the Letchworth area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and care focussed, not for profit provider with a reputation for high quality services.
The role has come about due to internal promotion and the group are seeking an experienced manager who can join a successful home and use their skills and knowledge to take it to an outstanding rating. The home is running well with a good CQC rating and high occupancy. It has a stable staff team and experienced Deputy Manager in post.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing a successful care home
- L5 Management or equivalent qualification desirable
- Specialist training, knowledge or interest in Dementia care
- Proven ability in budget preparation and control
- Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation
- Confident IT user, with good working knowledge of Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- Be fully responsible for the day to day operation of the home
- Maintaining the successful running of the home; providing the highest standards of care and exceeding residents expectations and needs
- Providing staff with guidance, advice and training
- Manage and be accountable for the homes income and expenditure budgets
- Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision
- Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines
- Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community
Remuneration
- Salary offered up to 67,000 per annum plus generous pension and private healthcare

- 30 days leave plus bank holidays
