Customer Service/Warehouse Manager, Letchworth
£25,000 - £28,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Manager/Warehouse Manager to join and lead a growing contact centre team for a well-established family run business in Letchworth
You will initially be responsible for a team of customer sales and warehouse staff with a scope to build the team as the company grows.
The role will also involve supporting senior management team in delivering KPIs and dealing with business development managers.
Responsibilities
- Leading a small team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Identifying opportunities to develop/enhance existing working practices.
- Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Motivating and inspiring the team to surpass their performance potential.
- Setting and exceeding departmental KPIs, objectives, including quality and conversion targets.
- Encouraging, supporting, and motivating the team
- Monitoring, organising, and coaching the team daily.
- Managing escalated calls, complaints, questions, and queries.
- Monitoring and implementing of H&S risk assessments.
- Performance review meetings with team members, setting objectives and targets.
- Leading team meetings
- Supporting trade shows/exhibitions when required.
- Implementing weekly stock take schedules
- Managing CRM systems to enhance communication between all parties
- Managing and monitoring stock levels and implementing processes to manage at risk stock
- Dealing with manufacturers, raising purchase orders, coordinating purchase order receipts.
Candidate Specification
- PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player who works well under pressure
- Self-motivated
- Willing to go the 'extra mile'.
- Willing to travel if required to support exhibitions (2/3 per year)
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Holidays: 21 days rising to 25
