Chamber music, piano and sight reading are all featured in a range of September courses at Hitchin's Benslow Music.

With a number of courses available over the coming weeks, there are options to suit a range of abilities.

Throughout the year, Benslow Music hosts a series of courses, concerts, talks and events across many genres including classical, early, folk and jazz.

Exploring String Chamber Music with Tedesca Quartet

Mon 2 - Thu 5 September 2024 Tutors: Nic Fallowfield, Clare Bhabra, Richard Muncey, Jenny Curtis

Benslow Music welcomes the return of the ever-popular Tedesca quartet to lead this course.

This is an opportunity for string players of approximately grade 6 to 8 standard to play chamber music in a variety of mixed groups.

This course is about playing various string chamber music including trios, quartets and sextets.

Developing Your Aural Skills with Katherine Bramley

Fri 6 - Sun 8 September 2024

Katharine Bramley returns to Benslow Music with this popular course based around the aural test requirements for Grades 5-8.

An intensive but fun weekend, suitable for those preparing for exams as well as those who simply want to improve their aural skills.
