A man has been arrested for firearms offences after an incident in Baldock last week.

At around 5pm on Friday, (March 1) police officers attended an address in Elmwood Avenue in the town, and arrested a 59-year-old man on suspicion of possession of firearms.

He was also arrested for sending messages with intent to cause stress or anxiety.

The man was bailed on Saturday, with Herts Police continuing their enquiries.
