A car overturned on the A1 near Letchworth and Stotfold.

The incident took place before 1110am on Friday morning (February 2) on the road's northbound carriageway, near Astwick Services.

The emergency services were called to the scene. It is understood fire, police and ambulance services all attended

Beds Police said: "We can confirm we were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision just before 11.10am this morning by Astwick Services on the northbound carriageway of the A1.

"We attended alongside other emergency services.

"Anyone with information should call 101 or report online, quoting reference 141 of February 2."
