Driver reportedly assaulted other driver during confrontation in Letchworth

Police in North Herts are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Letchworth Garden City on Friday 19 July.

It was reported that at the Letchworth Gate junction of the A1(M) there was a confrontation between two drivers.

The confrontation which occurred between 2.30pm and 3pm was between the drivers of a white Ford Transit Connect with a roof rack and a black Audi A6.

It is reported that one of the drivers assaulted the other driver and damaged their vehicle, though no injuries where sustained.

Sergeant Jordan Quicke, from the North Herts Intervention Team, said: "I am appealing for any information from the public relating to this incident. If you were travelling in the area at this time, please check your dashcam.

"Please email me with any information you have as it could help our enquiries.

"We are particularly interested in any dashcam footage anyone may have. Please send any information to [email protected]."
