Broadway Cinema & Theatre invites you to witness a captivating rendition of one of history's most beloved love stories - Romeo & Juliet.

Set against the backdrop of a deeply divided Belfast in 1998, this brand-new adaptation from the award-winnig OVO Theatre breathes fresh life into Shakespeare's timeless masterpiece.

In this re-imagined tale, two households, both alike in dignity, collide amidst the tensions of a city on the brink of change. Against all odds, a pair of star-crossed lovers, Juliet and her Romeo, embark on a journey of forbidden love that ultimately leads to tragedy.

Directed with innovation and flair, Romeo & Juliet is a high-energy production infused with movement and contemporary music, capturing the spirit of a tumultuous era. Through its dynamic storytelling, the play reflects the enduring relevance of Shakespeare's themes, reminding us that love and conflict are universal experiences.

"We are delighted to bring live theatre back to Letchworth Broadway after a five year gap. The large audiences for cinema screenings of performances from the National Theatre show that there is a strong theatre loving audience in the town, and we are looking forward to sharing some bold, imaginative and surprising drama over the next few months." - Adam Nichols, Artistic Director of OVO

Join us at Broadway Cinema & Theatre on Friday, March 15th and Saturday, March 16th at 7:30pm for an unforgettable evening of drama and passion. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the magic of Shakespeare brought to life on stage.

Tickets are available now at Romeo and Juliet - Broadway Cinema & Theatre, Letchworth (broadway-letchworth.com)
