A teenage boy has been assaulted by a group of three teenagers in Letchworth.

Police were called to the incident in Leys Avenue, which took place at 540pm on Wednesday, September 6.

Motorists who witnessed the incident beeped their horns as they drove past - scaring the group, who then ran off.

A Good Samaritan spoke to the victim to see if the boy was ok.

A police spokesperson said that the victim had not reported the incident to Herts Police, saying: "We would urge him to please come forward so that further enquiries can be conducted."
