Police launch witness appeal after 40-year-old woman seriously injured as car leaves A505

North Herts: Appeal after 40-year-old woman hospitalised following A505 incident near Hitchin

Officers are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious collision near Hitchin.

The incident occurred just before 11pm on Saturday night (May 21) when a blue Seat Altea left the road into a field on the A505 just before Hitchin. The car had been travelling towards Hitchin.

The driver and only person in the vehicle, a 40-year-old woman, was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers are keen to speak with anyone who saw the collision or who has dash cam footage which may assist the investigation.
