ITS Building People Letchworth Celebrate 50 Years of Construction Recruitment with £50,000 Charity Drive
Celebrating 50 years in the construction recruitment industry, ITS Letchworth is commemorating this huge milestone by pledging to raise £50,000 for the Sue Ryder charity.
Each ITS office is taking part in various fundraising events, which include a charity skydive, The 3 Peaks Challenge, site labouring days, marathons, football matches and much more. The funds raised will provide hospice care for people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
"We're driven by a desire to make the world a better place, " said Paul Knight, ITS Board Director. "Celebrating our 50th anniversary by supporting a worthy cause is just one way we're working towards that goal."
Construction recruitment experts
ITS Letchworth works with main contractors, developers and sub-contractors across all sectors in the industry, supplying trades and labour as well as professional construction staff on a temporary and permanent basis.
"As we celebrate 50 years in the industry, we're reminded of the importance of delivering quality service and solutions" continues Paul. "We're proud of our legacy and excited to continue providing exceptional service for years to come."
Championing diversity, inclusion and mental wellbeing
Along with the charity drive, ITS Letchworth continues to push its diversity and inclusion focus to create employment opportunities for all.
By tackling industry stereotypes and showcasing the benefits of working in construction, ITS Letchworth is passionate about supporting sector-minority groups such as female workers and young people.
As well as this, ITS Letchworth is involved in several key mental health initiatives, which have seen company ambassadors co-ordinate and deliver mental health training to ensure all workers are supported in an understanding and friendly environment.
"We understand that mental health is just as important as physical health in the workplace", explained Paul. "That's why we support mental health initiatives like Mates in Mind and Man Gang to promote well-being and support our workers."
ITS Letchworth is proud of what they've achieved and is passionate about continuing the growth of the business in the future.
