It's getting hot in here – new sauna and steam rooms at Letchworth leisure centre

Take your pick of two different types of sauna and a steam room following a refurbishment at North Herts Leisure Centre in Baldock Road, Letchworth, operated by Stevenage Leisure.

The area also includes a heated bench and special shower – a cold rinse is often recommended as part of your cooldown and to further cleanse your skin by rinsing loosened impurities and closing pores.

SLL said: "The area includes a traditional sauna cabin, which helps to relax your muscles while deep cleaning your body, and a steam room which helps clear your mind while the steam soothes and heals your skin - plus a brand new infrared sauna which is perfect for helping with soft tissue and sports injuries as it can help relieve inflammation, stiffness and soreness by increasing blood circulation and allowing the infrared heat to relax muscles and improve circulation."
