Christmas lights switch on event sees huge turnout

There was jolly cheer aplenty across Letchworth as thousands of festive punters packed our town centre for the annual Christmas lights switch on this weekend.

The brilliant Letchworth BID event saw our community come together to revel in the holiday spirit, enjoy the food and gift stalls, and cheer for the talent performing on the main stage in our around Leys Avenue and Eastcheap.

Love Letchworth who put so much hard work into making the event become the best one yet, said: "Thank you to each and every person who came to town throughout the day.

"Thank you to all our stage acts, everyone behind the scenes, all the retailers and stall holders.

"We love Letchworth and we hope you do too."
