We hope that everyone is enjoying the long Bank Holiday weekend as much as we are! Despite our slightly reduced opening hours over the last couple of days, we're open every day and busier than ever!

It's another great week for new releases.

This weekend, we're spinning the latest from Angel Olsen, 'Big Time.' It's a beautiful album, a nostalgia-tinged exploration of love and grief that critics (and us!) are loving. The Independent has lauded it as "a thoroughly blissed-out affair, rocking gently in the warm breezes of vintage country", which seems to sum it up! It's perfect summer listening.

We also can't get enough of 'Versions of Modern Performance', the album debut from Chicago indie rock three-piece Horsegirl. Long-awaited and anxiously anticipated, it doesn't disappoint. Stereogum have described it as sounding "the way young music-geek enthusiasm feels", "held together by signature touches like hooky deadpan vocals and harmonically dense, effects-laden guitar noise… deployed with a flair and expertise far beyond Horsegirl's age." High praise indeed, and we couldn't agree more.

We hope to see you instore soon, but you can check out our website for the latest news and releases!
