LETCHWORTH WEATHER: The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning with fog set to blanket our area.

It is expected that there will be dense fog patches across our town and surrounding areas from around 7pm tonight [Monday, January 17] to midday tomorrow [Tuesday, January 18], which could also cause travel disruption.

Make the most of the winter sunshine today, but clearing skies and light winds into the early hours are likely to create ideal conditions for dense patches of frost and fog patches.

Wrap up warm as minimum temperatures are expected to be as low as -4C with the widespread frost expected later.

Don't forget to leave a little extra time in the morning to scrape the frost off your car windscreens.

The fog is expected to linger tomorrow in our area, keeping temperatures down as low as 2C or 3C.
