Letchworth is set to face snow this winter according to long-range weather forecasters.

Temperatures are set to fall sharply at the end of January with the white stuff expected in our area in early February.

According to long range weather forecast website Accuweather our town and surrounding the mercury is set to plummet in the coming weeks.

Snowfall between Tuesday, February 1 and Saturday, February 5.

The Met Office agree saying: "A more unsettled regime is most likely during late January and into early February with spells of wet and windy weather followed by brighter but showery interludes."
