There's not long now to go until Letchworth outdoor pool re-opens.

The popular outdoor swimming pool in our town is set to open on May 28 - in time for the half term school holidays.

With the forecast set fair, with plenty of warm sunny weather expected, swimmers are gearing up to use the site on Icknield Way.

Work has been going on through the winter to make sure the pool is looking its best - including draining and cleaning the pool floor before re-filling and installing new boilers to heat the water more efficiently.

Letchworth Outdoor Pool will remain open for almost three additional weeks until 30 September, on a reduced timetable (open all day Saturday and Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday – Friday: two sessions running on from 7am-11am and 330pm to 630pm.
