Witness appeal following attempted burglary in Letchworth Garden City

Police are appealing to the public for witnesses and information following an attempted burglary in Letchworth Garden City.

The incident occurred at around 512am on Saturday (December 2) in Redhoods Way East.

It is reported that a doorbell camera alerted the victim that two offenders wearing balaclavas walked up to the house and tried the door handle, before swiftly moving away. 

PC Abbie Hay who is investigating, said: "I am appealing for any information or people who may have witnessed what happened. If you have any information, please contact me."
