[B}Letchworth[.B] The weather forecast for the rest of this month is: Prepare for a cold and wet Halloween half term as arctic air moves in.[.B]

Today, Wednesday, will see heavy showers with the risk of thunder in our area.

According to the Met Office there will be thundery showers and a fresh breeze with temperatures of around 17C.

However, the mercury will drop to around 12C by this Friday, ahead of half term and Halloween.

Temperatures are expected to fall even further by next week when arctic air moves in, so make sure you wrap up warm when enjoying Halloween.
