Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.

Letchworth's Remembrance Day service:

Letchworth's Remembrance Parade, organised by the town's Royal British Legion branch, will take place on Sunday, November 12 at the War Memorial in Station Place.

Letchworth Royal British Legion tell us that the the march will start to the war memorial at 1040am from the Broadway Gardens with the cadets leading the way.

The service sheets will be for the public on behalf of County funerals, Crouch's, Austins, Co-op.

Follow up with a church service after at the Free church Leys Ave 11.30am
