Updated: Letchworth residents are being advised of roadworks taking place this week.

Work started on Monday (August 22) on a main thoroughfare into our town.

A main artery that leads drivers into Letchworth town centre is set for three days of roadworks, between the hours of 930am and 4pm, until Wednesday (August 25). The work is being carried out by Ringway on behalf of Herts County Council.

Herts County County tell Nub News: "The work on Bedford Road this week is carriageway patching and repairs," adding: "The core of the work is replacing bolted down speed cushions and resurfacing a speed table.

"There is also some carriageway patching to do as well as some miscellaneous works such as changing some gully frames and replacing some wooden bollards."
