Letchworth: While we may see spells of rain today, [Wednesday, November 10], according to the long-range weather forecast our town could see snow before too long.

Those dreaming of a winter wonderland with Letchworth covered in the plenty of the white stuff could have their hopes realised - with snow set to hit our area soon.

According to long-range weather experts AccuWeather, snow is forecast for the beginning of next month, with Friday, December 3, set to receive plenty of white flakes.

However, before that happens, Tropical Storm Wanda will reach the UK, including Letchworth, bringing high winds.

But for now, make the most of the mild weather, with highs of 13C today - well above the average for this time of year. And don't forget your brolly as light rain is forecast for most of the day.
