Letchworth: Woman in her 80s hospitalised with serious injuries after Station Road collision

Station Road in the heart of Letchworth has been the scene of a serious incident that led to a woman in her 80s hospitalised.

Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision at around 1125am in Letchworth resulting in the elderly woman being taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The incident took place at the bottom of Station Road and the roundabout of Norton Way North and Norton Way South.

Police confirmed to Nub News: "The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 80s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries."

The road has now been reopened.
