Letchworth: Woodcraft for Wellbeing on Norton Common - find out more

Start your 2024 with some personal rewilding and join the Woodcraft for Wellbeing program on Norton Common in Letchworth this weekend.

Saturday (January 27) sees the start of monthly regular sessions from 10am to 1230pm.

These sessions are free and open to all adults (ages 18 and over).

Organisers say: "They are about getting outdoors, connecting to nature, and improving your wellbeing and mental health.

"We will be practicing mindfulness and wellbeing, using strategies to improve our metal health, we will try different green crafting, and have a campfire, hot drinks and snacks.

"It will be a chance to meet like minded individuals, to make new friends, step back and enjoy some time in nature."

The sessions are led by an approved therapeutic practitioner for Woodcraft for Wellbeing, and Forest School Leader, who has more than 10 years experience working in the environmental sector and with a variety of communities- specialising in outdoor sessions for all ages.
