Breath, Beats and Barrells: Brilliant brewery in Weston partners with breathing coach for unique series of workshops

Crossover Blendery have teamed up with local breathing coach Harriette from Inexhale Breathwork to create a summer series of energising breathwork sessions at their brewery in Weston.

Dubbed "Breath, Beats and Barrels," these guided sessions offer a unique experience by combining ancient breathing techniques, music and movement as well as the gorgeous smell of the brewery.

The workshop allows people to connect to the present, find a place of calm and leave feeling energised and ready to take on their weekends. Participants are immersed into the practice with yoga mats nestled in between barrels and the sound of fermenting beer and beautiful bird song. Concluding the workshop, everyone has the opportunity to sample one of Crossover's delicious beers and learn about the creation of their distinctive blends.  

Charlie from Crossover says: "We want to create more of a community hub at Crossover. Our space is a place for people to come and relax in the countryside amongst friends with the ability to switch off from the outside world. I thought Harriette's Breathwork session would be a perfect fit and from the feedback people are very much enjoying the sessions". 

The initial intention for the workshop was for it to be a one off, However, due to rave reviews, they have organized a summer series of monthly sessions. With limited spaces available, the workshop has consistently sold out. 

Harriette explained: I created this workshop for festivals to give people a chance to use their breath and movement to re connect with themselves. When Charlie invited me to run a session as the Blendery I jumped at the chance. It is such a beautiful space, perfect for breathwork.  

In addition to Breath, Beats & Barrels, Crossover Blendery will host a variety of events throughout the summer, including yoga sessions, foraging experiences, brewery bus tours, and vinyl DJ days.
