A man has been jailed in connection with multiple shoplifting offences committed across East and North Herts.

Marius Tudoroiu, aged 34, from Clifton Road in Watford, was sentenced to nine months at St Albans Crown Court on Friday (31 May), after pleading guilty to seven charges of theft from a shop.

The offences were committed in Buntingford, Bishops Stortford and Letchworth, between June and November 2023.

Tudoroiu was detained by a PCSO at the Co-op in Buntingford in February 2024 and subsequently arrested by officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team.
