Appeal for witnesses after burglary in Letchworth Garden City

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and CCTV footage following a burglary in Letchworth Garden City. 

The incident occurred between 530pm and 6pm on Wednesday, November 22, when a house on Baldock Road was broken into.

A messy search was conducted at the property, but nothing was reported as stolen.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6ft 4in tall, of stocky build and wearing a dark blue hoodie with the hood up, and a black mask. 

PC Sean McCann, who is investigating, said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please get in touch.

"If you saw anything, or witnessed anyone matching the description walking along Baldock Road, Waysmeet, Waysbrook or Lordship Lane, please email me directly at [email protected].

"Additionally, if you have a doorbell cam or CCTV fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial information to assist our investigation."
