CCTV appeal after a distraction burglary in Letchworth

Police in North Herts are appealing to the public for help to identify three people following a burglary in Letchworth.

The incident occurred between 1.30pm and 2pm on Friday, March 22 at Argos inside Sainsburys in Third Avenue, Letchworth Garden City.

It was reported that three men entered the store, one man distracted a staff member at the customer services desk, whilst another man appeared to enter the warehouse and leave with three iPhones without making any attempt to pay.

The two men who entered the store then left with a third male outside the store, in the direction of the petrol station.

PC Izabela Nowosinska of the North Herts Intervention team said: "Is this you, or do you recognise any of these men?

"We are releasing these images because we believe those pictured may have been in the area at the time and could help our investigation. If you have any information, please email me at [email protected]
