When you have days out and events planned trying to lose weight can feel very difficult.
At Slimming World our wonderful eating plan means you can focus on the free foods and never go hungry.
During groups IMAGE therapy sessions, you get the help and support to navigate yourself through these difficult times.
You learn hints and tips you can use when out and about.
As a consultant I wanted to share what this could look like. Show my local community an example of how it can be done.
I had had the largest pleasure on Sunday to be heading into London for the day to watch my son perform at the Royal Albert Hall with Theatre Train Hitchin Facebook.
Potentially this could have sent me into a spin. I know eating out for me can be a real danger zone, so many choices of so many foods,
I also know I can eat the most amazing meals when I'm out all within the plan.
So, I planned and thought about where and what I would have. I made free foods my focus and transformed what would normally be a disastrous food day into a really positive experience.
What's more was being inspired by the Theatre Train performance.
It was 1,600 children coming together from all over the country to perform 'We are going to Change the World' where they tackled the idea of unity to make change.
Touching on the stress and pressures children are under and how they, all of us, can not only speak out to make a change but also the actions we can do.
