Following an intense build process and against a glittering backdrop of excited students and eager local residents and businesses, Emil Dale Academy is now preparing to open its doors in Letchworth Garden City.

Emil Dale Academy runs part time course for ages three to 21 and full-time course for ages 16+, offering Further and Higher education qualifications in collaboration with the University of Bedford.

The academy has relocated from Hitchin and taken over The Grammar School on Broadway in Letchworth Garden City.

Saturday 21st September is the academy's official launch day.

Local residents and businesses are invited to come and join the team to see the exciting new space, learn more about the courses on offer, and find out more about what Emil Dale Academy will be bringing to Letchworth Garden City.

Emil Dale, founder of the Academy said: "2024 has been a whirlwind, but we're so excited that we're now ready to open our doors.

"I can't wait to welcome everyone from Letchworth to come and have a look around in September – I'm so proud of what we have achieved and can't wait to be a part of your wonderful community.

"How exciting to finally be able to say we are officially Emil Dale Academy – Broadway!"

Graham Fisher is chief executive of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation.

He said: "This is a great moment for Letchworth Garden City and I can't wait to see what a fantastic impact Emil Dale Academy will have on our town.

"We're looking ahead to the 125th Anniversary of Letchworth Garden City, and our Strategy 2028 document takes us there.

"Bringing Emil Dale to town speaks directly to our key strategic aims, including making Letchworth a great place to grow up, making Letchworth known for its thriving cultural offer and improving prosperity and life chances.

"A very warm welcome to all the students heading to Letchworth."
