Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following Arlesey shooting

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in Arlesey last week.

As Nub News has been reporting officers were called to Woodview Lodge in Hitchin Road between 9.40pm and 10pm on Tuesday, April 9, following reports of a firearm being discharged.

One man in his 20s and another in his 30s, remain in hospital at this time, although the injuries they sustained are not believed to be life-threatening.

As Nub News has been reporting a police helicopter was deployed in a Bedfordshire Police operation to locate and arrest a suspect in Hitchin last Thursday.

Police have now confirmed a man in his 20s from Hitchin and a man in his 30s from London have both been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Another man in his 50s was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
