Witness appeal following road traffic collision in Letchworth

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision in Letchworth.

At around 7.45pm on Boxing Day (26 December 2022) a woman and a red Ford Ka were in collision at the junction of Broadwater Avenue and West View. The woman, aged in her 70s, suffered a fractured pelvis.

The driver is assisting police with enquiries.

PC Joe Massey, who is investigating, said: "We are looking into the circumstances of this incident and as part of that are appealing for any witnesses, who we have not yet spoken to, or anyone who perhaps caught the collision on dash cam or doorbell cameras to get in touch. 

"Anyone with information is asked to please email me directly via [email protected]"
