This is the 22nd year that the Letchworth & Baldock Lions Club, part of the world's largest community service organisation, has run their fun day and each year there is something bigger and better. This year they will be raising funds for Brain Tumour Research, as well as the Lister Hospital Children's Cancer Services. This year in addition to the fairground, there are a variety of stalls and food vans plus lots of games, including Plate Smash, Hook-a-duck, Football, Guess 'how many balloons in the car', and 'How many balls in the jar'.

Plus this year, in addition to having our regular DJ Daniel Allen, there will be a tented stage and the entertainment will be from 11:00 am - approx 2:30 pm. The Garden City Samba Band will start the proceedings and before closing off they will have audience participation. Then the Stotfold Twirlers will be entertaining us on the grass near the Fairground with their athleticism, gymnastics and dance. Then the well-known band Beat and Shellywith all the bells and whistles, before the Variety Express theatre shows us a prelude of their upcoming play 'Scary Tale, a Family Halloween Musical' and the entertainment ends with Jazz Singer Don And his friend Allan entertaining the masses to well-known songs.
