A new role has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join an established and growing entrepreneurial company based in Letchworth. They are within an exciting and interesting industry that offer a friendly office with a good vibe!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant focusing on B2B marketing and direct email marketing. The successful candidate will work closely with both the marketing and sales departments to support various marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, product sheets, website updates, and social media management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage monthly trade emails covering recent wins, back-in-stock notifications, order alerts, and B2C pre-order listings
  • Develop B2B-focused emails detailing upcoming products, last-chance buys, events, press news/reviews, hardware updates, and release dates/changes
  • Develop and distribute sales sheets for new product releases
  • Create detailed product sheets for hardware, tech specifications, and hardware lines
  • Manage retail listings on the website and coordinate updates for social media promotions
  • Generate and distribute pre-order URL links for upcoming products
  • Assist sales and marketing departments in research and presentations for clients
  • Update media review links and listings on the company website
  • Upload new cartridge pages as necessary to keep product information current
  • Create and manage content for Amazon, including copywriting and basic design tasks
  • Monitor and provide reminders for marketing budget allocations and expenditures
  • Analyse and report on marketing performance using Google Analytics and Amazon Vendor Central/Seller Central
  • Support the management of the company s LinkedIn profile, including content creation and engagement

What the employer is looking for:

  • 1 years experience in B2B marketing and direct email marketing
  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Mail Chimp, social media apps, etc
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Amazon Vendor Central/Seller Central, and email marketing platforms
  • Basic presentation skills for creating presentations, briefs, etc
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Previous experience managing LinkedIn profiles and engagement
