LETCHWORTH: Our town's brilliant cinema has reopened today [Wednesday, January 5].

Staff shortages due to Covid forced its temporary closure on Monday as we reported at Nub News.

Thankfully, the staffing shortage has eased and Broadway Cinema on Eastcheap confirmed they would be open once again.

Posting on their official Instagram page they wrote: "We are pleased to say that we will be reopening our doors again tomorrow [Wednesday].

"Staff have safely returned from isolation and all screenings will go ahead as normal.

"We have plenty of amazing movies on offer so book your tickets."

If your screening was cancelled, the cinema say they will be in touch shortly to arrange a refund or to move your ticket to another day.

There is no need to contact their booking office - their amazing staff are working as quickly as possible to contact all ticketholders so please do bear with them.
