Spring is in the air across North Herts right now - boosted by random acts of kindness in Letchworth today, Friday, March 8.

Love Letchworth have been busy spreading the joy by handing out beautiful bunches of free flowers to lucky punters in the town centre.

Sam King from Love Letchworth had the brilliant idea guaranteed to spread plenty of happiness.

Speaking to Letchworth Nub News, popular Sam said: "The feedback from today has been amazing.

"It shows how one random act of kindness can really brighten up someone's day.

"We felt so lucky to be able to talk to a huge range of people today who were just going about their daily lives, and notice how a small gift of flowers can really turn their day around in a positive way!
