Witness appeal following assaults in Baldock

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following several assaults in Baldock.

The incidents occurred at around 10.45pm on Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24) where it is alleged four people were assaulted at the Cock Pub on the High Street.

Detective Constable Sarah Meacock, who is investigating, said: "Our enquiries are continuing and I'm appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.

"Given it was Christmas Eve, the pub was very busy at the time of the alleged offences and we believe there may have been many potential witnesses.

"If you saw anything, or have any further information, please email me at [email protected]."

You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in their Force Communications Room via their online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/103961/22.
