Detectives investigating a burglary in Letchworth Garden City are releasing images of two stolen rings in a bid to trace them.

The burglary occurred at an address in Pixmore Way, between midday and 5pm on Thursday, December 22.

Entry was forced and items were stolen from within, including jewellery (pictured), a mobile phone and baby toys which had been bought as Christmas presents.

Detective Constable Beth Stevens, from the Local Crime Unit, said: "Understandably the victims were left extremely upset by what happened. Burglary is devastating at any time of year, but even more so at Christmas.

"Our enquiries are continuing at this time and, as part of the ongoing investigation, we're releasing images of two stolen rings in the hope that someone may recognise them. Have you seen them advertised for sale anywhere?

"We'd also be keen to hear from anyone who may have any other information about the burglary. Even something seemingly insignificant could prove key."

Do you recognise the jewellery above? Anyone with information is asked to please email [email protected]
