A new network event in Letchworth has been hailed as a huge hit.

Garden House Hospice Care's event called Connect Corporate Networking saw a large number of local businesses attend, that led to the morning being praised as a big success.

Fundraising Co-Ordinator Harry Folgate told Nub News: "We had a fantastic day hosting local businesses at our latest Connect Corporate Networking event yesterday. A huge thank you to dormakaba UK & Ireland for sponsoring the event and our friends at Letchworth Corner Sports Club for hosting us.

"We loved spending time and engaging with our wonderful Connect members, and it was great to see so many new faces in attendance too."

Connect Corporate Networking offers businesses of all sizes, sole traders and partnerships the opportunity to build their connections, while helping the much-loved Hospice to continue to provide free, end-of-life care in our local community.

The new event is sure to prove popular the next time it is held. Harry explains: "It is a charitable way of connecting your business with a range of relevant industries to grow your own.

"Connect with other local companies, keep informed with what is happening in your community and support a local charity by becoming a member of our business networking club covering North Hertfordshire, Central Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire."

If you would like to find out more about a networking group which will make you feel welcome and offer you the perfect chance to represent your business in a relaxed environment, visit Garden House Hospice
