Letchworth: Boxing legend Frank Bruno hails staff at Garden House as Earth's Angels in warm tribute to Hospice

Boxing legend Frank Bruno has hailed staff at much-loved Letchworth charity Garden House as 'earth's angels' after a charity dinner to boost the hospice.
The British sporting icon and former heavy weight champion of the world, Frank Bruno MBE was the star attraction at the weekend's charity fundraising dinner in aid of Garden House Hospice Care.
Hosted by No Mercy Boxing Gym, 'An Evening with Frank Bruno' will took place on Saturday at Broadhall Hotel in Letchworth Garden City where the popular 60-year old sharing stories about his eventful career while also hosting a Q&A session.
"Morning. Thanks to all who attended benefit event in Letchworth last night for Garden House Hospice. Hospice staff really are Earth's Angels who receive so little praise.
"While we all rightly praised NHS staff there was no national thanks to Hospice staff across the UK which is wrong."
Garden House Hospice Care provides free specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses from across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, serving a population of around 230,000 people.
Garden House tweeted: "Thank you to Frank Bruno for a great night's entertainment in aid of the Hospice and for helping to raise awareness of the amazing work our staff do every single day."
