North Herts iconic store situated on Eastcheap in Letchworth town centre sells everything from vinyl and CDs to books and sheet music was closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and will also be shut on New Years Day.

However the renowned music store will be open for the rest of the holiday season.

On March 30, 1963 David's Bookshop opened its doors for the very first time at Station Place. Fast forward six decades and the highly-acclaimed - and much-love bookshop, along with music store and cafe is still going strong.
