When spring has sprung, many in Letchworth and across north Herts embark a spot of decluttering at the nearest recycling centre.

In order to avoid delays find out when the site opens during the week, in order for you to stagger your trips away from the weekend.

Here's Letchworth Nub News handy guide to Letchworth dump - or the Letchworth Recycling Centre to give the site its full name - which is located on Blackhorse Road, near to the town centre.

Don't forget it you are bringing a van or trailer you'll need a van permit.

Business waste? They won't accept it. Commercial waste at the site.

DIY or home improvement waste? They only accept a limited amount - if you have too much you may be turned away.

Monday - 10am - 6pm

Tuesday - Closed

Wednesday - Closed

Thursday - 10am - 6pm

Friday - 10am - 6pm

Saturday - 10am - 6pm

Sunday - 10am - 6pm
