Hello from David's Music! As the days get longer and ever-so-slightly brighter, more and more new releases are starting to arrive at our door. This week we're listening to 'Extreme Witchcraft', the latest offering from Eels, a perennial David's favourite. It might be their thirteenth album, but their playful lyricism and fuzzy, garage-rock sound is as timeless as ever. Also on the shop stereo is 'Black Acid Soul', the hotly anticipated debut from Marley Monroe, aka, Lady Blackbird. Reviews have been glowing, with multiple critics singling out the depth and power of Monroe's singular vocals. Similarly acclaimed is the new release from The Weeknd, 'Dawn FM.' Boldly conceptual, every song on this ambient, 80's-infused album feels like a hit waiting to happen. We're also looking forward to the upcoming crop of releases – we've got a new record from indie fave Mitski heading our way on Friday, her first in almost four years. Also due, the sophomore album from Black Country New Road, whose brilliant debut was shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize last year. All in all, we've got some exciting weeks ahead! Check out our website and social

media for the latest updates or drop by to say hello!
